Construction workers on a Navy yard discover a body in an elevator. During forensic examination Jimmy Palmer says and follows a man who grabs the victim Rick Baxter’s false passport and shoots at Jimmy. Ducky finds he had a non-lethal blow on the head, could well have phoned before falling to his death. Palmer feels terrible for his unmanly, yet life-saving dive and has a hard time trying to reconstruct the face, identify the passport nationality or remember he name on it, even under hypnosis, but his ability to recognize still proves vital. The site also contains an older corps, buried in concrete, and traces of copper theft, which is confessed to by Enis Watley, who however didn’t attack Jimmy. Abby reconstructs the ‘mummy’, with surprising results.
